Did you know?
The National Health Screening Services Malta administers the National Cancer Screening Register for the Maltese Islands, for Breast, Colorectal, Cervical and Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screening. The National Screening Centre in Malta was first set up in 2009 with the breast screening programme, followed by the Colorectal cancer screening programme in 2012 and the cervical cancer screening programme in 2015. Screening for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms was started in 2022.
